How Donations To Charities Work

You may ask family and friends to donate to one or more charities in the name of the deceased.  The name of the charity is included in the published obituary.

Simply contact the charities of choice and they will provide appropriate mailing addresses and tax receipts.

Charities normally return a list to you of the people who have donated and the amount of each donation, which will enable you to write  thank you notes.
